Banana & Hemp Protein Bread

Go bananas for our delicious Banana & Hemp Protein Bread, made with our High Protein Flour, Original Milk and Seed Hearts! This bread packs a protein punch and is a fantastic way to start the day or even have as a mid-afternoon snack! This recipe was made exclusively by Protein Chef.

  • Makes 2 mini loaves or 6 individual muffins.

What you’ll need:

  • 75g Wholemeal self raising flour
  • 25g Good Hemp Pure Protein Powder
  • 1 large whole egg
  • 1 large ripe mashed banana
  • 25g Honey
  • 25g Good Hemp Original milk

 Toppings:

  • 1 tsp honey
  • 10g Good Hemp Seed Hearts

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 4 (180C/355F).
  2. Mix the mashed banana, honey, egg and milk together. Then add the flour/Protein Powder and fold in slowly.
  3. Spoon into greased and lined mini loaf tins or muffin cases.
  4.  Bake for 12-15mins
  5. Allow to cool, brush with honey and sprinkle with hemp seeds.
